Tacx Virtual Reality Trainer - the Ultimate Spin Bike with a KGS Bicycle

Tacx Virtual Reality Trainer - the Ultimate Stationary Bike with a KGS Bicycle

I have been getting calls daily about indoor trainers and spin bikes. It’s the season and I hope people who decided to add bicycle miles this summer while the gas prices were high are going to keep their fitness and ride all winter too.

I lost 50 lbs one winter taking stationary bike, or Studio Cycling classes and have outlined how a Tacx Virtual Reality Trainer and a KGS bicycle can maket the ultimate combination. Check it out on the kgsbikes.com website.

I hope you will comment about indoor training and what works best for you.

Most of us have a “another job” where we ride the office chair. This usually leaves the closet cyclist minimal-to-no safe daylight time left for rides and the inconvenience of severe temperature drops in the central Texas area. Having an Ultimate Spin Bike setup really helps expand the cycling base for the next season. Useful advice I’d like to share:
[1] keep up the interval work during the week with each workout targeting a specific area for improvement: power, speed pedaling, VO2Max, long tempo, steady state
[2] the trainer is a relentless, unyielding machine. As such, overall workout times should generally be reduced but workout intensity increased. Factor in adequate recovery time to ensure the next workout is high quality.
[3] save the long rides for the weekends when there’s daylight to be safe and visible – not to mention avoid hitting the migrating deer

Thanks Kevin!
