Lance's Bike
Up The Road is a Trek blog. I found this story on a one off Trek Madone for Lance called How Do You Like Them Apples.
Here is an excerpt from the post:
The talent in the back room here at Trek rocks. No, its is not for sale and no it will not be offered in Project One. It was built long before Lance announced his comeback so it has DA instead of Red. We painted it up like this because Lance spends enough time in NYC to ride so why not have a Big Apple themed bike?
I like cool bikes whether they cost $20 or $30,000. Lances new bike is expected to cost around $25,000, which means it could show nicely in the KGS showroom. The Trek shown on this blog has a great paint job and probably a cool story that I wish I could tell you.
