We have had success with global clients who are able to travel to San Antonio to commission a KGS Custom Bicycle. Our friends to the south in Mexico have begun to discover us and since San Antonio is a gateway to the south, we are actively making connections. It is not always easy to find people who have an appreciation for the bicycles we create combined with the means to actually buy one.
We have been introduced to the Asociacion de Empresarios Mexicanos recently and sponsored their annual Golf Tournament, held at the Quarry Golf Course in San Antonio. While gold and bicycling don’t traditionally mix that well, we were banking on the hope that the golfers would appreciate our bicycles and sure enough, almost all had no idea that bikes could be designed and built to this level of excellence. They now have a resource to be able to refer their friends who do ride. We found out they call our bikes: bicicletas artesanales and that term will be used with our friends to the south.
Referrals and the internet are the only two ways we get the word out. We appreciate your referrals and am happy that those who do refer get great bragging rights!
